1. Introduction

Welcome to Blue Way Car Rental. By using our website and services, you agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

2. Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Blue Way Car Rental, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old (25 for some vehicle categories).
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and government-issued ID.
  • Have a valid credit or debit card for payment and security deposit.
  • Meet our insurance and driving record requirements.

3. Reservation & Payment

  • Reservations can be made online, over the phone, or in person.
  • A valid credit/debit card is required to secure your booking.
  • Full payment is required at the time of pick-up.
  • Rates may vary based on the vehicle type, rental duration, and location.
  • Any applicable taxes, fees, or surcharges will be included in your final bill.

4. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit is required at the time of rental.
  • The amount varies based on the vehicle category and rental duration.
  • The deposit will be refunded upon the safe return of the vehicle, minus any applicable charges.

5. Rental Duration & Extensions

  • Rental periods are calculated on a 24-hour basis.
  • Late returns may be subject to additional charges.
  • If you need to extend your rental, you must notify us in advance.

6. Vehicle Usage & Restrictions

  • Vehicles must be driven only by authorized drivers listed in the rental agreement.
  • No smoking or pets are allowed inside the vehicle unless otherwise permitted.
  • The vehicle must not be used for:
    • Illegal activities or reckless driving.
    • Off-road driving or in restricted areas.
    • Transporting hazardous materials.
    • Competing in races or towing other vehicles.
  • The renter is responsible for any fines, tolls, or traffic violations incurred during the rental period.

7. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up.
  • If returned with less fuel, a refueling charge will apply.

8. Insurance & Liability

  • Basic insurance coverage is included with each rental.
  • Additional coverage options (collision damage waiver, liability insurance, etc.) are available for purchase.
  • The renter is responsible for any damages or loss not covered by insurance.
  • In the event of an accident, the renter must:
    • Notify Blue Way Car Rental immediately.
    • Obtain a police report if required.
    • Provide all necessary details for the insurance claim.

9. Breakdowns & Roadside Assistance

  • In case of a breakdown, contact our 24/7 roadside assistance.
  • If the issue is due to mechanical failure, we will provide a replacement vehicle (subject to availability).
  • The renter is responsible for repair costs due to negligence or misuse.

10. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days.

11. Termination of Rental Agreement

Blue Way Car Rental reserves the right to terminate a rental agreement if:

  • The renter violates the terms of use.
  • The vehicle is misused or driven recklessly.
  • False information is provided during the rental process.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect and store customer data for booking and service purposes.
  • We do not share personal information with third parties unless required by law.
  • Customers can request data access or deletion by contacting us.
